Dr Rabi Chhantyal-Pun is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the University of Nottingham, UK, and leads the Atmospheric Chemistry Group. He recieved his Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry from Newman University in 2007 which was followed by a PhD degree in Physical Chemistry from the Ohio State University in 2013, both in the USA.
Edward Bates completed his Chemistry and Molecular Physics MSci degree from Nottingham in 2022 and decided to stay on for his PhD studies which will focus on spectroscopic and kinetic studies of peroxy radicals using near infrared cavity ring-down spectroscopy. Outside the lab, he is an avid supporter of his local football club Burton Albion, regularly travelling to different corners of the country following them. He also enjoys exploring the outdoors, walking in the Peak District and around the local nature reserve at Attenborough
